ARTIST: Kuniyoshi. SUBJECT: Beauty before blossoms. DATE: c.1840's. MEASUREMENTS: Oban design measures 9.75" x 14". CONDITION: Excellent color & impression. Natural oxidation to the grey textile. A few pin-sized holes towards bottom of design. A few dirt-traces. NOTE: Most likely a panel from a triptych. Finely printed with woodgrain evident in the blue sky.
